Originally from Estonia, Aleksandr is an Attorney at Law with nearly 20 years of international experience spanning legal consulting, corporate leadership, and regulatory advisory roles.

Aleksandr worked at top international law firms Eversheds and Glimstedt, focusing on financial regulation, AML compliance, and cross-border business law. He was recently elected as a Deputy Member of the Board of the Estonian Bar Association.

In the private sector, Aleksandr has held several senior positions. He served as Group Chief Compliance Officer at Olympic Entertainment Group, a European gaming group operating in seven countries, where he led an international team of 70 professionals. Earlier, he was one of the first compliance experts at Wise, overseeing global product and AML compliance. He has also acted as UK Country Director for an international payment institution and served as a board director at Tuleva, a leading Estonian pension fund with over EUR 1 billion in assets under management.

Aleksandr holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Law, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He speaks English, German, Estonian, and Russian.

Krista is a senior accounting and finance professional with nearly 30 years of experience leading financial operations for major organisations. Her expertise spans complex accounting and tax matters, service development, and client-focused financial strategies.

After concluding her tenure as Group Chief Accountant at Wise — the global payments company listed on the London Stock Exchange — Krista chose to focus fully on building and growing her own accounting and consultancy practice. She is a published author and a regular speaker at industry conferences, with a strong focus on practical financial guidance for businesses.

At Exval, Krista leads our bookkeeping and tax services. She works closely with professional service providers, e-commerce businesses, and investors to deliver tailored, tech-driven financial solutions. She also manages our team of accountants and is committed to continuously enhancing the efficiency and value of our services.

Krista holds advanced degrees in law, business administration, and accounting, and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She speaks English, Finnish, Russian, and Estonian.

A German-qualified lawyer, Florian began his career as a legal scholar at the University of Cologne, where he earned his doctorate in law (magna cum laude). He has since held senior legal positions at major financial institutions, including UniCredit Bank, Deutsche Hypothekenbank, and NORD/LB, advising on complex structured finance, asset-based lending, and cross-border regulatory matters.

Currently, Florian serves as a Senior Legal Consultant (external) to Hogan Lovells Middle East LLP, where he leads international deal teams and advises global banks, investment funds, and fintech companies on sophisticated financing structures. He has engaged directly with key regulators such as the German Bundesbank, and the European Central Bank.

Based in Dubai since 2020, Florian is well connected within the UAE’s expat business community and has supported numerous expat-led companies with regulatory and cross-border legal challenges. Florian holds both the First and Second State Examinations from Germany and is admitted to the German Bar. He speaks English and German fluently and has working knowledge of Italian, Dutch, and Slovak.
